IGT Mourns the Sudden Passing of Fabio Cairoli, CEO of Global Lottery

IGT, a leading gaming and lottery company, announced with deep sadness the sudden passing of Fabio Cairoli, the CEO of Global Lottery. Cairoli was a highly regarded executive known for his passion, drive, sincerity, and commitment to results and innovation.

Cairoli’s leadership was unparalleled in his roles overseeing Global Lottery Sales and Operations, Italy Lottery Operations, Global Lottery Product and Sales Development, and Global Lottery Technology and Support. While these operations remain in capable hands, IGT recognizes that Cairoli’s passing is a significant loss for the lottery industry, as he was not only a respected leader but also a dear friend to many.

The significant loss for IGT and the lottery industry

Prior to his role as CEO of Global Lottery, Cairoli served as Chief Executive Officer for IGT Italy, where he oversaw all business lines, marketing services, and sales for the company’s Italian operations. He joined Lottomatica Group S.p.A., the predecessor of IGT, in 2012 as Senior Vice President of Business.

The passing of Fabio Cairoli is a tremendous loss for IGT and the lottery industry as a whole. His leadership, dedication, and innovative spirit will be deeply missed, and his contributions will be remembered and celebrated.
