Bede Gaming Appoints Dan Whiteley as Chief Technology Officer, Strengthening Its Executive Team

Bede Gaming, a prominent iGaming content developer and a subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group since 2020, has made an exciting addition to its Executive team. The company is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Whiteley as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Impressive experience

With an impressive track record of 25 years in complex technology solutions and digital products, Whiteley brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He previously held senior leadership positions at Jugo, CTS, and Flutter, a global sports betting company. His expertise lies in setting innovative technology visions and strategies, focusing on digital transformation, product engineering, architecture, IT services, security, and operations.

Pivotal role

This leadership appointment is the latest in a series of notable announcements from Bede Gaming. In March 2022, Colin Cole-Johnson was named CEO, and in 2023, Kirsty Stewart was appointed Chief Legal & Client Services Officer. The addition of Whiteley’s expertise to Bede’s Executive team further underscores the company’s commitment to its customers, offering innovative technical solutions, strong commercial relationships, and customer-focused products.

Bede’s platform currently serves five globally-renowned customer operators, including the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation, one of the largest entertainment corporations worldwide. Dan Whiteley officially assumed his role as CTO on July 3, 2023, succeeding the previous CTO, Andy Wardle, who departed earlier this year. With Whiteley’s leadership, Bede Gaming looks forward to continued success and advancement in the rapidly evolving iGaming industry.
