Evolution Gaming Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of Arcadia Gaming Solutions

Evolution Gaming Group is set to expand its iGaming product line through the acquisition of Dutch technology firm, Arcadia Gaming Solutions. Arcadia’s Innovation in Online Arcade Gaming

Founded in 2019 by Arion Labs, Arcadia Gaming Solutions has gained recognition for its innovative approach to transforming traditional arcade games into online casino experiences.

Its standout product, Fortune Pusher, and other titles allow players to interact with physical arcade machines via mobile and desktop platforms, bridging the gap between arcade gaming and live casino environments.

Arcadia’s advanced video-streaming technology provides real-time, immersive experiences, which Evolution considers a valuable addition to its expanding portfolio.

Arcadia emphasized its innovation-driven approach on its website, stating, “Combining creative energy, in-depth experience, and unsurpassed technical abilities, our team continuously delivers exhilarating experiences through unique and innovative games.”

Evolution sees these capabilities as a strategic asset in the increasingly competitive iGaming landscape.

Part of a Larger Growth Strategy

This acquisition aligns with Evolution’s broader expansion strategy. In 2023, the company reported revenues of €1.80 billion, with live casino games contributing 84.7% of its total income. CEO Martin Carlesund reaffirmed Evolution’s commitment to growth, stating, “We will continue to invest, recruit, and expand our operations across the globe.”

Evolution’s growth plan has also included other acquisitions, such as the planned purchase of Galaxy Gaming for $85 million, set to close in 2025.

Additionally, Evolution has been expanding its online presence in the U.S., having launched online slots in Delaware and collaborating with Rush Street Interactive to bring live casino games to BetRivers.
