IGT Secures Five-Year Deal with Atlantic Lottery

International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has solidified its position as a leader in the global gaming market by securing a five-year contract with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation to revamp and enhance the digital lottery experience in Atlantic Canada.

Details of the Partnership

Under the agreement, IGT’s subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, will introduce a cloud-based remote game server (RGS) and launch a minimum of 16 digital instant games annually until April 2029.

This strategic initiative is supported by an option to extend the contract for up to five additional one-year periods, showcasing a long-term commitment to innovation and quality in the lottery domain.

Enhancing Digital Offerings in Atlantic Canada

The Atlantic Lottery is recognized as the largest digital instant market in Canada. Robert LaLonde, iGaming Director at Atlantic Lottery Corporation, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “As the largest digital instant market in Canada, Atlantic Lottery is pleased to partner with IGT and offer our players dynamic digital instant games from IGT’s comprehensive content portfolio,” LaLonde said.

He also highlighted the benefits of IGT’s scalable RGS technology, which allows real-time modifications to the digital instants library, ensuring that players enjoy the best possible experiences.

He emphasized IGT’s dedication to helping the Atlantic Lottery expand its reach and appeal to new players in the region through reliable technology and high-performing iLottery games.

IGT’s RGS platform will grant the Atlantic Lottery access to a vast array of digital instant games and content, featuring a variety of themes, play styles, and popular licensed content, including omnichannel and progressive jackpot games.

The platform also supports extensive cross-channel branding across retail and digital, offers various jackpot configurations, and includes bonusing tools designed to boost player engagement.

As the primary technology provider to 26 lotteries in the U.S., including eight of the world’s largest 10 lotteries and 16 of the world’s top 25, IGT continues to demonstrate its global leadership in the lottery market.
