Light & Wonder Launches Playzido’s Dynamic Content Creation Platform in Michigan
Light & Wonder, Inc. (NASDAQ and ASX: LNW), in collaboration with its subsidiary Playzido, has introduced its innovative content creation platform to the Michigan gaming market.
With the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) awarding a B2B supplier license to Playzido, players in the state now have access to a captivating array of new gaming experiences.
Expanding the Gaming Horizons in Michigan
Playzido, a creative gaming platform acquired by Light & Wonder, recently secured a B2B supplier license from the MGCB. This milestone marks the debut of Playzido in the United States, opening doors for operator partners in Michigan to offer an enriched gaming portfolio. The license enables the development of fresh content through Playzido’s proprietary Remote Gaming Server (RGS) platform and access to previously unavailable studios in the U.S.
Playzido’s adaptable technology is tailor-made for independent studios, empowering them to create a wide range of games, including multiplayer experiences and jackpot games. This flexibility ensures a diverse and engaging gaming selection for players in Michigan.
Exciting Games in the Pipeline
The first games set to debut in Michigan through Playzido’s license include CHARLIE’S ANGELS™, DIAMOND MULTIPLIER RESPIN™, and BLAZING 777 2x3x5x™. These titles promise to bring fresh excitement and entertainment to the gaming landscape in the state.
Dana Jackel, Head of US Commercial at Light & Wonder iGaming, highlights the significance of this new license for Playzido in Michigan, stating “This new license for Playzido in Michigan is a significant moment for us in terms of creation and delivering content that truly appeals to players in the state.
“Playzido’s platform is rightly regarded as one of the industry’s strongest and has already enjoyed enormous success in Europe. Everyone at Light & Wonder is ecstatic to harness the Playzido technology to bring next-level studios and games to our operator partners and players in Michigan to enjoy.”
