Malta Gaming Authority to Host Esteemed GREF Annual Conference

The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) is proud to announce its role as the host for this year’s Annual Conference of the Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF), a landmark event in the iGaming regulatory calendar.

Scheduled from 20-22 May, the conference is poised to welcome over 90 delegates from 35 member states, offering a prime opportunity for regulatory bodies to delve into pressing issues, share best practices, and forge stronger ties within the global gaming community.

A Convergence of Minds and Expertise

The GREF Annual Conference stands as a testament to the collaborative spirit of the gaming regulation sector, facilitating a rich exchange of knowledge and experiences among attendees. Kinga Warda, MGA’s Chief Officer – Policy and International Affairs, expressed her enthusiasm about hosting the event, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to navigate the complexities of the gaming industry.

Since its inception in 1989, GREF has been instrumental in fostering dialogue and cooperation among gaming regulators across Europe. The forum serves as a vital link for authorities and organizations seeking to tap into the collective wisdom of European gaming regulators, highlighting the significance of shared learning and regulatory harmony.

A Legacy of Collaborative Success

The MGA’s selection as the host for the GREF Annual Conference is not without precedent; in 2016, the authority successfully orchestrated a joint conference with the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA).

The event drew a diverse array of stakeholders, from operators and suppliers to legal experts and investors, underscoring the MGA’s capability to facilitate meaningful industry-wide conversations.
