Tiago Almeida’s appointment took effect immediately following the presentation of a new strategic plan at an internal event on August 9th.

The plan, well-received by the company’s employees, outlines Oddsgate’s ambitions to expand into emerging markets such as Africa, Asia, and Latin America, while reinforcing its operations in Brazil, particularly in sectors moving toward regularization.

The strategic pillars include organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and the continuous development of human capital, a core value for Oddsgate.

Additionally, the plan emphasizes technological innovation and a strong commitment to social responsibility, integrity, and positive impact.

Leadership Team and Strategic Roles

Alongside Almeida, several key executives were highlighted for their roles in driving the company’s growth:

Tiago Almeida’s iGaming Expertise

Tiago Almeida brings 18 years of experience in the iGaming industry to his new role. Starting his career in 2006, he quickly recognized the potential of the South American market, particularly in Brazil, which he identified as a future global leader in iGaming.

His experience includes founding and leading companies in the sector, focusing on platform development and market growth in Brazil.

Almeida also founded a company specializing in licensing services for gaming operators in Latin America, where he established himself as a leading authority on regulated markets and compliance.

His strategic consultancy has benefited major players such as Esportes da Sorte, Pixbet, Galerabet, and F12.BET.
