Peter Camden Joins SIS as Competitive Gaming Product Manager

SIS (Sports Information Services), a leading multi-content supplier of 24/7 live betting services, has recently appointed Peter Camden as the Competitive Gaming Product Manager.

Camden’s Extensive Industry Experience

Peter Camden brings over two decades of expertise to SIS, having led sportsbook products at numerous prominent companies. His tenure at GIMO is particularly noteworthy, where he launched a global, in-house developed sportsbook and successfully migrated over 15 countries to a new CMS and front-end platform.

Camden’s rich background also includes senior trading roles at betFIRST and Mybet, further solidifying his credentials in the sportsbook domain.

SIS’s Competitive Gaming Expansion

Camden’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for SIS, which recently inked a global distribution deal with Genius Sports for its popular Competitive Gaming portfolio. Developed specifically for sportsbooks, this portfolio features SIS’s H2H Global Gaming League, providing operators with non-stop content, including over 150,000 competitive, short-form events annually in eSoccer and eBasketball.

The comprehensive solution is designed to offer substantial margins, leveraging familiar markets and bet types for existing sports bettors.

Strategic Growth in the US Market

The addition of Peter Camden aligns with SIS’s plans to expand its Competitive Gaming product, now offering three streams each for eBasketball and eSoccer. This expansion is strategically timed to capitalize on anticipated growth within the US market.

Adam Conway, Head of Competitive Gaming at SIS, commented on the new hire, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Peter to SIS. His knowledge and skills will only strengthen our Competitive Gaming offering as we continue to make positive strides with our industry-leading product. This is a hugely exciting time for SIS. We believe this appointment will help to further develop our product offering as we continue to make strong progress in regulated markets worldwide.”

Peter Camden expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, saying, “I am delighted to be joining SIS and specifically the Competitive Gaming division. The company’s eBasketball and eSoccer products continue to provide an unparalleled experience for our operators and bettors, and I look forward to taking this range of engaging content to the next level.”

Implications for the iGaming Industry

SIS’s strategic move to bolster its Competitive Gaming team with Camden’s expertise signals a robust commitment to enhancing its product offerings and expanding its market presence. The focus on eSports, particularly eBasketball and eSoccer, reflects a growing trend in the iGaming industry toward innovative and engaging betting options. This appointment is likely to further cement SIS’s position as a leader in the competitive gaming space, offering operators and bettors cutting-edge content and betting experiences.
