Rank Group Appoints Sam Allanson as CFO for Rank Interactive

The Rank Group has announced the appointment of Sam Allanson as Chief Financial Officer for Rank Interactive.

Wealth of experience

Allanson will join the company later this year, bringing with him a wealth of experience in consumer-facing businesses, particularly in the betting and gaming sector.

Allanson is the Commercial Finance Director at Entain, where he oversees financial initiatives that enhance the Group’s value. He began his tenure in the company after the successful merger of Ladbrokes and Coral, where he held the same position. Before joining Entain, he occupied various senior finance roles at Sky plc.

Allanson, who is based in Gibraltar, will be reporting to Richard Harris, the CFO of Rank Group. This hiring comes after the recent appointment of Andrew Peat as the Managing Director of Rank Interactive, which is the UK-based digital business of Rank.
