StarGames.de becomes new partner of Hannover 96 for the 2023/24 season

Hannover 96 has announced a new partnership with online casino StarGames.de, making the gaming platform the team partner for the upcoming 2023/24 season.

As part of the collaboration, StarGames.de will have its logo featured on the training and warm-up outfits of the licensed team, as well as on various display areas in the Heinz von Heiden Arena. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the brand history of StarGames.

The German online gaming provider, known for its Novoline slots, will support the Lower Saxony-based football club during the 2023/24 season. Hannover 96, which had the third-highest average attendance in the 2. Bundesliga last season with over 30,900 fans, aims to take the next step forward after finishing in tenth place last year.

“It is a great honor to collaborate with such a historically significant and traditional football club. Commitment, passion, and fair play are important values that are not only crucial to Hannover 96 but also essential pillars of our company and brand,” emphasized László Pados, Brand Manager of StarGames. “We are most excited to support this team and its fans in having a successful season in a highly competitive league.”

Ticket giveaways planned

In addition to traditional logo sponsorship on training and warm-up outfits, as well as advertising spaces in the stadium and on Hannover 96’s website, the partnership will also include promotional activities such as ticket giveaways. Andreas Jansch, Marketing Manager of StarGames, revealed that work is already underway behind the scenes for these initiatives.

“This partnership presents an exciting opportunity for us to engage with the many Hannover 96 fans and showcase our enthusiasm for excellence, both on and off the field,” said Jansch. “We can’t wait to get started!”

Christian Woike, Director of the Hannover 96 unit at sports marketing agency Sportfive, expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership and the future collaboration. “We are delighted to have gained StarGames as a partner, who has been successful in strengthening its activities in the German market,” said Woike. “As part of this partnership, we are awarding the status of the so-called Teampresenter for the first time. This is a newly conceptualized rights package that guarantees strong visibility for the partner around the 96 professional team.”
