Betsson to use Neccton tools in Ontario market

In order to prevent money laundering and promote responsible gambling, Betsson Group will use Neccton’s tools in the Ontario market.

Protect the player

Players in Ontario who use Betsafe products, owned by Betsson, will from now on be protected by Neccton software called Mentor. The tool is designed to maximize player protection by monitoring potential signals of alarm in the behavior of Betsafe customers, such as a significant increase in deposit frequency.

The program will notify the operator of any potential problem that may need to take appropriate steps.

The software also has an anti-money laundering (AML) module that complies with all guidelines in Ontario and other jurisdictions. It is also worth noting that the tool can be freely adjusted to the requirements of the companies using it, as well as the requirements of each market.

Large caliber customer

Dr. Michael Auer, director and head of development at Neccton, used the results of his previous research in creating the Mentor software. Dr. Auer remains optimistic about the cooperation with Betsson: “We are delighted to welcome a customer of this caliber into our family” he stated.

Marina Bogard, Betsson Group’s managing director for North America, meanwhile, referred to the company’s policy: “Betsson takes Anti-Money Laundering and Responsible Gaming very seriously and we are committed to providing the safest and most efficient platform and experience for our players.

We are delighted to be working with Neccton’s innovative solutions to be able to provide our players added confidence in betting and gameplay.” she admitted.

Betsson recently launched its Betsafe brand in Ontario, and the company received B2C and B2B licenses.
