Catena Media Forms Strategic Partnership with The Sporting News

Catena Media, a prominent player in the iGaming industry, has solidified its presence in the North American and Latin American online sports betting and casino gaming markets through a strategic content and commercial media collaboration with The Sporting News, a well-established sports publisher brand in the United States.

Catena Media is expanding its presence in LatAm

The newly forged partnership is set to span three years and positions Catena Media as the exclusive betting partner for The Sporting News, enabling the creation of both editorial and advertorial content.

The focal point of this partnership is the United States, where The Sporting News enjoys widespread recognition and boasts a substantial audience across an array of sports, including college sports, basketball, football, hockey, motorsports, golf, tennis, and boxing, among others. Additionally, the partnership aims to cater to selected Latin American countries, namely Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil.

Catena Media will develop tailored digital content designed for sports enthusiasts, casino gamers, and fantasy sports aficionados, which will be hosted and distributed on The Sporting News’s websites.

Partnership with potential

Ryan Harper, Vice President of Catena Media North America, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “The Sporting News is one of the oldest names in sports publishing in the US and we’re delighted to have them as a core media partner. Their close to 45 million unique users per month give us access to a large audience that will enable us to compete directly with some of the top sports publishing companies in the world.”
