Galera.bet Joins IBIA to Strengthen Sports Betting Integrity in Brazil

Match Time Solutions BV’s sports betting brand, Galera.bet, has recently become a member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). This decision was made in order to comply with the regulations set forth in the Provisional Measure recently issued in Brazil. According to this measure, operators are required to be affiliated with an international sports integrity monitoring body.

Galera.bet is an official sponsor of the Brazilian Football Championship and the Brazilian Basketball Confederation, with a primary focus on Brazil. As a member of IBIA, the operator joins nearly 50 companies and over 125 leading sports betting brands committed to maintaining gambling integrity worldwide.

IBIA has expanded into Brazil ahead of the market regulation, with the Brazilian government’s Provisional Measure stipulating that licensed operators must be associated with an international body for monitoring sports integrity. IBIA member brands already represent over 60% of the Brazilian online gambling market, according to H2 Gambling Capital, a prominent authority on global market data in the industry.
