Kateryna Biloruska to Exit Parimatch with Stake Sale to Sergey Portnov

Parimatch Group Co-Founder Kateryna Biloruska has announced her decision to sell her controlling stake in the company to fellow Co-Owner Sergey Portnov. This transaction will result in Portnov becoming the sole owner of Parimatch Group after also buying out shares from minority shareholders.

Ownership Transfer and Departure from iGaming

Kateryna Biloruska, a Co-Founder of Parimatch Group, is set to sell her controlling stake to Sergey Portnov. While the size of the transaction has not been disclosed, Portnov is expected to become the primary owner after acquiring additional shares from minority stakeholders.

A statement released noted, “Kateryna Biloruska will relinquish all official roles at Parimatch Group to focus on investment opportunities outside the gaming industry.”

Biloruska took to LinkedIn to announce her departure from Parimatch and the iGaming industry after more than a decade of involvement. Reflecting on her career, she said: “Innovation never stops. After more than ten years in the dynamic world of iGaming, I have decided to leave the industry, which has been a major part of my life and career.” Her message also expressed gratitude towards the team and partners at Parimatch, stating, “people have played a key role in our success.”

Biloruska will also step down from her position as a board member at Energame. In her announcement, she shared, “It has been a fantastic journey and a huge responsibility, and I am honoured to have been entrusted with it.”

Despite her departure, Biloruska conveyed confidence in the company’s future, saying, “I am confident that the company remains in excellent hands, with a strong leadership team in place to continue driving its growth and success. I’m sure that with your continued dedication and hard work, the company will reach even greater heights.”

Portnov’s Leadership Journey

Sergey Portnov has been with Parimatch since 2011, initially serving as Marketing Director. He later became CEO and, most recently in 2024, took on the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

With the acquisition of Biloruska’s shares, Portnov is poised to steer Parimatch Group through its next phase of growth and innovation.
