Leeds United announces partnership with Unibet for training wear

Leeds United unveiled its new partnership with Unibet, marking the brand as the club’s official training wear partner starting from the 2023/24 season.

Leeds and Unibet join forces

Unibet, a part of the esteemed Kindred Group, joins forces with Leeds United once again, having previously enjoyed a successful long-term partnership through its brand, 32Red, during the club’s time in the EFL Championship.

Founded in 1997, Kindred Group, formerly known as Unibet Group, emerged as a disrupter and innovator, revolutionizing the betting experience for customers in the digital era. With a strong global presence, Unibet offers a comprehensive platform encompassing sports betting, online casino games, bingo, and online poker, winning the loyalty of customers worldwide.

As part of the collaboration, the Unibet logo will prominently feature on the training wear of both the men’s first team and the women’s team, as well as the men’s first team coaching staff.

Kindred Group stands at the forefront of responsible gambling practices, employing a range of tools and proprietary technology to ensure the well-being of its customers. In 2020, the company made history as the first global online gambling firm to pledge zero revenue from harmful gambling through its groundbreaking initiative, the “Journey Towards Zero.”

Unibet is reconnecting with Leeds United

Sam Mead, head of UK marketing at Kindred Group, expressed delight at reconnecting with Leeds United through this new partnership: “Our industry-leading model of sponsorship provides benefits to both clubs and their communities – something we will drive forward throughout the season.”

Paul Bell, executive director at Leeds United, extended a warm welcome to Unibet as the club’s official training wear partner: “We are pleased to welcome Unibet as our new official training wear partner. We have previously enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the Kindred Group through its 32Red brand which was on the front of our shirt when we were promoted as Championship Champions at the end of the 2019/20 Season.”

Fans can anticipate the launch of the new 2023/24 Leeds United official training wear in the near future. It is worth noting that the training wear will be available for purchase without any partner logo branding, allowing supporters to showcase their allegiance in a timeless fashion.
