Multi-State eInstant Progressive Jackpot Launched by Pennsylvania and Virginia Lotteries

Pennsylvania and Virginia Lotteries have made history by introducing the industry’s first multi-state eInstant progressive jackpot, called Mega Money Jackpots. Instant Win Gaming (IWG), a leading supplier of eInstant games to NASPL/WLA-member lotteries, congratulates both lotteries on this groundbreaking initiative.

IWG goes live in Pennsylvania and Virginia

Mega Money Jackpots will offer eInstant players in Pennsylvania and Virginia the chance to win multimillion-dollar prizes. The concept involves designated eInstants from each participating lottery contributing a small percentage of their sales to fund the progressive jackpot. IWG, serving as the jackpot manager, will administer the settlement of prize monies across the participating lotteries.

The launch of Mega Money Jackpots represents a significant milestone, and both the Pennsylvania and Virginia Lotteries anticipate the involvement of additional U.S. lotteries in the future. This expansion will further increase the progressive prize possibilities, providing even more excitement for players.

Powering Mega Money Jackpots is IWG’s InstantJackpots, seamlessly integrated within IWG’s InstantRGS (remote game server). This integration allows for a smooth implementation without requiring development support from the iLottery platform providers of the participating lotteries. As a result, additional lotteries can join the initiative independently, regardless of their contracted iLottery platform provider.
