Playnetic Enters Romanian iGaming Market with New License

Playnetic, a B2B iGaming provider, has secured a license to operate in Romania, following approval from the country’s regulatory body, Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN).

Regulatory Approval Opens New Opportunities

The Romanian license represents a significant milestone in Playnetic’s ongoing global expansion efforts. Earlier this year, the company received similar approval in Sweden, and Romania is the next market in line as Playnetic strengthens its international presence. The acquisition of these licenses highlights the company’s focus on scaling its operations and accessing key European markets.

With this move, the company is now poised to tap into Romania’s fast-growing online casino market, which is projected to reach £633 million by 2029.

New Slot Games Set for Release

Dan Phillips, CEO of Playnetic, commented on the company’s rapid development over the past year: In less than a year, Playnetic has achieved remarkable milestones. We’ve built a 100 plus strong team of passionate gaming professionals across the globe, have been granted licences in Sweden and Romania with more to be announced soon, and secured key partnerships to launch our gaming content across key global markets.

In parallel with its regulatory achievements, Playnetic is set to expand its game portfolio. The company plans to launch several new slot games later this year, adding to its growing library of gaming content.
