Robbie Savage Joins Planet Sport Bet as Brand Ambassador Ahead of New Football Season

Planet Sport Bet, the sportsbook arm of the prominent UK sports media group Planet Sport, has announced the signing of former Premier League player and respected pundit Robbie Savage as its new brand ambassador.

In anticipation of the upcoming football season, Savage will provide regular content throughout the campaign, sharing his insights and opinions on the latest news and events in football. The former Welsh international will also take on the role of the face of Planet Sport Bet’s advertising and promotional campaigns.

Savage’s presence will extend across various media platforms, including the broader Planet Sport network, which encompasses well-known football titles such as Football365, Planet Football, and TEAMtalk.

Launched in 2021, Planet Sport Bet is part of the Betting & Gaming division of Planet Sport, which also includes multi-sports media outlet PlanetSport.com and the recently acquired content subscription platform Tipstrr.

With a club career spanning over 15 years, Savage made more than 500 appearances. He played for renowned clubs such as Leicester City, Derby County, and Birmingham City. Additionally, he represented Wales on the international stage, earning 39 caps. Since retiring from professional football, Savage has become a prominent pundit, regularly contributing to both the BBC and TNT Sports. He currently serves as the Director of Football at Macclesfield FC.
