Superbet Group announces a new international management team

Superbet Group has restructured its management team to support the company’s ongoing international expansion that will impact its day-to-day business. 

This change is initiated by the appointment of Stephen Parry, former CEO of William Hill International, as the new COO of Superbet Group.

Parry, one of the industry’s leading experts, is given a task of creating a “new operational center” within the Group. His role will focus on optimizing retail, online, and core business operations.

New challenges for Andrei Dușu

Andrei Dușu will lead Superbet Group’s new international expansion strategy as Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO). Dușu, who previously worked as a senior strategist at Google and McKinsey, as well as the co-founder of Flawless – an artificial intelligence-based application supporting real-time business operations – will be supervising mergers, acquisitions, international expansion, business analysis, and strategy.

Glyn Hughes as CFO

The third person in the new strategy will be Glyn Hughes, who will take on the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Hughes is an experienced financial leader as he previously served as CFO and Executive Vice President of the International Workplace Group (IWG) and Chief Financial Officer and Interim CEO of Mothercare. So, his knowledge in financial matters will probably be invaluable.

Johnny Hartnett is the captain of the ship

The strengthened management team will report directly to Johnny Hartnett, CEO of Superbet Group.

Hartnett commented: – We begin the next stage of our development journey, it is extremely exciting to add experienced and talented leaders like Stephen, Andrei, and Glyn to the Superbet management team.

Their experience across multiple sectors and geographies means ​​that they will be a key part of fulfilling our ambition to move our business from our home in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to the rest of Europe and beyond – Hartnett said

Adam Lamentowicz with a promotion and a new role

The company’s internal changes also include the promotion of Adam Lamentowicz to the position of Vice President of Superbet International. Lamentowicz, previously CEO and Country Manager of Superbet Polska, will supervise international operations under the Superbet brand, excluding the Romanian market.

Lamentowicz will report directly to Adam Shaw, the group’s Chief Revenue Officer.

In conclusion, Superbet has prepared solid basis to sustain its growth, further strengthening its position as a global rival among the strongest companies in the gambling industry.
