Superbet Set to Spearhead Sao Paulo Sponsorship in Record-Breaking Deal

Superbet is on the brink of securing a landmark deal as the primary sponsor of Sao Paulo starting in 2024. This lucrative arrangement, potentially lasting four years, could net São Paulo a staggering 52 million reais annually.

Superbet to Boost Sao Paulo’s Kit with Prime Logo Placement in Lucrative Deal

Positioned prominently on both the front and back of Sao Paulo’s jerseys, Superbet’s logo will gain high visibility. This European betting giant, with a strong presence in Romania, Poland and other countries, is set to make its mark in the most prestigious spot of the team’s kit.

The sponsorship extends beyond men’s soccer, encompassing São Paulo’s men’s basketball and women’s soccer teams as well.

Superbet, recognizing Sao Paulo’s massive media pull and increased visibility in the upcoming year, is poised to make a historic investment. This is further amplified by São Paulo’s recent Copa do Brasil triumph, ensuring their spot in the Copa Libertadores group stage, thus heightening brand exposure.

Sportsbet.io on the Verge of Being Outbid

Sportsbet.io currently holds the sponsorship rights and has the option to match Superbet’s offer to retain their partnership. If Superbet’s deal goes through, they will have to compensate for breaking Sportsbet.io’s contract, which runs through the end of 2024.

Superbet’s Brazilian Ambition

Superbet’s ambitious move into the Brazilian market is underscored by its intent to partner with one of Brazil’s top football clubs. With a significant stake owned by the English investment fund Blackstone, overseeing over a trillion dollars, Superbet is well-equipped for this venture.

At the helm in Brazil is Alexandre Fonseca, a seasoned executive known for his impactful deals in Brazilian football. His past achievements include securing prime sponsorships for Betano with clubs like Fluminense and Atlético Mineiro and acquiring naming rights for the Copa do Brasil and Series B.

Now leading Superbet, Fonseca faces the challenge of establishing the brand as a top contender in the competitive Brazilian market.
