IGT Extends Contract with Virginia Lottery: A 3-Year Extension for Enhanced Lottery Technology
International Game Technology PLC (“IGT”) has announced a significant contract extension with the Virginia Lottery through its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation. This three-year extension, effective through October 2033, includes options for additional one-year extensions and promises upgraded lottery systems and innovative gameplay features.

IGT’s ongoing collaboration with the Virginia Lottery, which began in 2000, is set to continue with a three-year contract extension. Under this extended contract, the Virginia Lottery will receive an upgraded central lottery system and communications network, new point-of-sale hardware, and exciting gameplay features. Additionally, 5,500 retailer terminals will be replaced with the Retailer Pro S2 terminal, enabling simultaneous feature updates across multiple terminals. These advancements promise to streamline lottery operations and introduce new gameplay experiences, including a progressive jackpot feature for the Lottery’s Print ‘n Play games.
